Taking Candy from a Stranger

This enchanting story was re-filmed in Britain four years after this movie was produced and you can watch that version here: Emil and the Detective >>

The copy of this film has English subtitles for non-German speaking folk, and as one who cannot understand German, I found the movie totally exciting and interesting. German speaking folk will soon realize that the sound track is a bit out of sync with the video, but please don't let this stop you from enjoying this great story. If anyone knows of a better copy I would appreiate their help in bringing it to the world. If a German speaking fan would like to help write a German language review for this spot, and help identify some of the actors that I could not, please contact me and I will be very excited to add the additional information.
