Glory and the Gangster

You are a good-looking cat burglar who makes a living stealing jewelry from wealthy women. One day when you take a stolen bracelet to your jeweler fence you see among his other stolen goods a ring . . . YOUR ring, which was taken from you by another blackmailing gangster that you used to work with. You discover that the ring is now owned by a lady, a beautiful lady who makes her living by gold-digging wealthy men and bleeding their bank accounts drier than the Sahara desert. You decide that in a couple of days you will sneak into her home and steal back your ring . . . along with the rest of her jewels. Unfortunately the lady is not asleep, and as you are about to climb out of her window with her jewels and your ring, she orders you to stop and raise your hands. She has a gun in her hand aimed directly at you . . . You turn slowly . . . very slowly . . . and when you see the lovely blonde standing in front of you and aiming her gun at you . . . suddenly . . . without thinking . . . . You are smitten . . . You are in love . . . Her name is Glory and your heart is beating out of your chest as you take in her beauty . . . You slowly walk towards her and speaking softly and calmly you talk to her and convince her that she will not shoot you, and as you move ever closer to her she once again threatens to shoot you if you come any closer . . . You slowly take another step towards her . . . . And she shoots you! Thus begins one of the most unique love stories to ever appear on the big screen. Douglas Fairbanks Jr. produced and stars in this story that got its plot from a hit book novel called, "Jump for Glory." Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the love story.
