What is a Good Name Worth?

So this young fellow in Bonanza City Arizona is in love with the banker's daughter and in this sleepy little Western town there isn't much excitement until . . . . An escaped killer and his buddy rob a stage coach outside town and frame young Clint. He spends three years in the hell-hole they call a prison in Yuma, and when he is paroled he returns to Bonanza City to clear his good name . . . . Now, he could easily head to another part of this huge land and start a new life where no one knows that he is fresh out of prison, but he is determined to clear his name and claim the young daughter of the banker for his wife. What do you think he finds when he gets back home? The mayor of the town is about to marry his old girlfriend, and everyone in town wants to see Clint dead. The mayor is the big boy of the town and everyone else follows him like little sheep . . . . If the mayor wants someone dead, a couple of his henchmen see that it is done, and there is no law that will go against him. When the mayor decides to beat the beejeebers out of Clint he does it in the saloon in front of everyone, and when Clint defends himself and punches the daylights out of the bully mayor, Clint is taken to jail for hanging because he beat up the mayor. Did I mention that Clint is not allowed to carry a gun as an ex-con from Yuma? Sheesh . . . . I've got to admit it . . . If I were Clint, I'd probably just get on my horse and ride away and find greener pastures somewhere else . . . . But some of us just gotta grow where we were planted . . . No matter how rough it is to just survive let alone grow . . . . Even if it looks like we will not survive the day, we still gotta try . . . Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
