The G-Man and the Blonde . . .
Whew . . . The action in this story moves faster than the East bound train at full steam . . . There is no limit to the speed of this story! In the 1930's when J. Edgar Hoover was tasked with creating a national police force to track down bank robbers and criminals that would cross state lines, those Federal coppers were quickly given the nick-name 'G-Men,' short for Government Men. Our hero is a G-man about to leave Las Vegas, where he is stationed, for a vacation, but his buddies snatch him off of his Pullman train car and bring him back to the Vegas office to help with a new case. It seems that a mysterious dark haired lady bandit is spreading loot around town from the gang's criminal activities and the G-men need Jerry's help to track down the lady gangster. Of course, even though it is 1935 and Las Vegas is a small cow-town, there is a beautiful blonde gal who immediately snatches onto the G-man and makes it known to him that he will be her next husband . . . Just as soon as her Las Vegas divorce is final . . . . sometimes the more things change, the more they stay the same . . . Sure, her convertible car is longer than most large trucks today, and her car steering wheel is larger than a ship's wheel, but I'll bet you can find this couple in Vegas today. Anyway, wealthy blonde hottie Marjorie, played by Claudia Dell, gets tangled with the gangster gal, and after this leads quickly to that, G-man Jerry is heading east on the train with the body of his partner Smitty, who was gunned down in a wild shoot-out with the gangsters in the streets of Las Vegas. Wealthy blonde Marjorie has her private Pullman train car attached to the train carrying the G-man and his dead partner, and guess what . . . The lady gangster and the rest of her gang is hiding out in Marjorie's private Pullman train car . . . Being pulled along behind the G-man and his dead partner. It is soon time for another wild shoot-out between the G-man and the gangsters on the train that is speeding along the tracks. If you pop a bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it before you watch this story, you will need to munch it quickly to keep up with the action.
