The Innocent Ex-Convict and the Gangster’s Sister

Dave Tyler is a college football hero known as “Whiz” Tyler. It is 1939, and even way back then, college football was important stuff. A gangster has wagered big money on the other team, and the only way to make sure that the other team wins is to get rid of Whiz Tyler. This gangster is very smooth, and he pays six different witnesses to swear in court that they saw Whiz Tyler rob a bank.

As our adventure opens, the innocent Dave ‘Whiz’ Tyler has spent three years in the penitentiary and is about to be set free on conditional parole. He will finally have a chance to clear his name and find out who framed him in the first place. He has a job lined up, and is determined to obey all of his parole rules as he searches for the gangster who framed him.

Unfortunately for Dave, the fellow offering the ex-con a job is the gangster who framed him. As Dave searches for the six witnesses that testified against him, the gangster and his henchmen are watching Dave very closely, and they will do whatever it takes to keep Dave from discovering that they are the crooks responsible for his jail time.

Unfortunately for the gangster, he has a kid sister who will fall in love with the framed ex-convict, putting Dave in even more danger of being murdered by the gangster and his henchmen. Dave may wish he were in the safety of his prison cell again before this adventure ends. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
