The more men I meet . . . The more I like my dog!

If you want to see several minutes of the funniest physical comedy ever put on film, watch for the scene where Buster Keaton and Joan Peers check into the seaside hotel for a romantic tryst . . . you'll roll on the floor laughing. When I thought about physical humor before watching this hilarious adventure I would think about the antics of John Ritter in his 'Three's Company' tv show, but this movie has changed my definition of physical humor, and Buster Keaton is certainly the King of physical humor in my mind. So this rich guy (Reginald Denny) wants to marry his girlfriend, but her older sister is still unmarried so they cannot get hitched until older sister Angelica gets a man . . . . but Angelica wants a 'bad' man . . . a man who knows passion and is experienced with women. A little bit later Reginald Denny hits a little shrimp of a fellow in the driveway (Buster Keaton), and a brain storm hits him . . . he will tell older sister Angelica that this shrimpy, wimpy man is a famous Casanova from Europe who steals wives and ruins marriages all over the continent. Buster Keaton has never even smiled at a lady before let alone kissed a woman or had is way with a woman, but Reginald Denny is determined to turn Buster Keaton into a real Ladies Man. Now . . . you'll enjoy the first half of the movie, shot at Buster Keaton's real home in Beverly Hills, but the fun really starts when Buster goes to a resort hotel with another lady in a ruse to make Angelica jealous. I am warning you . . . if you love to laugh . . . and if you love physical comedy . . . grab your snacks and hit the head before Buster heads for the hotel, because once he is there, the comedy comes fast and furious in one of the longest physical comedy sketches that this old fart has ever seen! Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
