Love Insurance, The Business of Preventing Marriage

Can you get an insurance policy on Love? Carol Hughes plays the part of June Delaney, who is in the insurance business with her uncle, and they will make a bet on anything – even love. They will give the agent of a famous heart-throb singer a policy that will pay three hundred thousand dollars if the singer gets married. The insurance company will bet that they can prevent any marriage from taking place, and they are betting almost half a million dollars.

Heart-throb actor and singer Robert Paige plays the part of Tony Page, America’s singing boyfriend. Women young and old listen to his velvety voice on the radio and crowds of adoring women attack him whenever they see him. One would think that the heart-throb singer would be enjoying all of the attention from the women of America, but all he wants to do is settle down with one girl and live a quiet life.

It will be up to June to keep him from becoming attached to any woman that might talk him into marriage. How will June keep the other girls away from him? Easy . . . . She will convince the singer to fall in love with her, and then she will string him along like a puppet to prevent him from falling in love and getting married to anyone else.

We discover that she can easily convince him to fall in love with her . . . . Men are so gullible for a pretty face . . . . She will play him like a violin. But of course, complications will ensue.

Sweet Lips, Kiss My Blues Away! There’s Satisfaction, when They’re in Action! Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
