Scotch Love

Wealthy and handsome Jim Wyndham pops into a small lunch shop to use the phone. He glances at the girl sipping coffee next to him and is fatally struck with her beauty . . . The girl sitting on the counter stool glances at the man using the phone and their eyes meet . . . . As the man is turning to leave, he spills her coffee all over her. The barman hands him a towel and Jim wordlessly wipes her jacket, moving down to her skirt . . . . Their eyes still glued to each other . . . . He accidentally brushes her skirt up over her knee . . . She slaps him and rushes out of the café . . . . With cheek stinging from her angry slap he turns and the barman asks him if he would like anything else. . . . He discovers that she has forgotten her briefcase, and it has her name and address on it. He rushes out to return her briefcase and actually arrives at her apartment before she does. When she arrives he asks her out to dinner and she refuses, but her girlfriend neighbor convinces her to go to dinner with the handsome man. She promises her girlfriend that she will be back in 30 minutes, but that will be a lie. During a romantic dinner with champagne flowing and dancing cheek-to-cheek as romantic music fills the air they fall incurably in love. They close the restaurant and go out into the night . . . . The next morning her girlfriend knocks on her apartment door to wake her up and chat about her dinner the night before, and she discovers that her bed has not been slept in . . . . Soon the loving couple ascend the stairs to her apartment door and kiss tenderly and fervently. With wide and dreamy eyes staring up at his glowing face she tells him that she has never been so happy in her entire life. . . . . He responds that there is something that he should have told her when they first met . . . . . You are thinking that he will tell her that he is married and has a family, right? . . . . . Wrong . . . . . This love story from Scotland will twist and turn in ways that you will never, ever imagine . . . . or forget . . . . Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
