Would you believe me if I told you that it took me over three hours to watch a 60 minute movie? And no . . . it was NOT because I fell asleep or anything, but quite the opposite. Before I moved to almost rural Niles, Ohio I lived for about twenty years in Cleveland, Ohio and the most exciting weekend in Cleveland was always the first weekend in September when the city hosted a huge Air Show at Burke lakefront airport in downtown Cleveland at the shores of Lake Erie. One year the Navy Blue Angels thrilled with their awesome jets and the alternate years the Air Force Thunderbirds provided the excitement. Of course the dare-devils of past were always heart-stopping . . . the lady wing-walker, the old bi-planes doing loop de loops and other aerobatics that thrust my heart into my throat. I am the first to admit that I am not an experienced word-smith and cannot give you that same feeling with my words of description . . . and those words that I cannot put together are the ones that I need to describe this movie. I have several other flying adventures on this web site, but so far none, no, not even one . . . that comes even close to providing the thrills and chills of this excellent adventure. The camera work and the flying stunts are amazing to watch even today, almost a century later. I wish I had words . . . . yes, almost three hours to watch this . . . . Why? Well, you know that I stop the movies when I see a great photo opportunity, and that takes a little bit of time, but for this thriller, from the first few minutes I found myself not only stopping the show to grab a photo, but I rewound several scenes to watch again . . . and again . . . and again . . . and now I find myself searching for the words and phrases to do this flying adventure justice, and am failing miserably. All I can say is that for this movie, unlike any that I have watched and reviewed to date, I didn't get to eat much of my big bowl of white kernel popcorn with melted butter on it . . . I was waaaaaaay to involved in the story plot and action.
