The G-Man and the Secret Formula for Death

Sometimes there is nothing better than a well-written story filled with fascinating characters struggling with life, joy, sadness and challenge . . . . And sometimes an action-packed, danger-filled, car crashing, boat exploding adventure is just what the doctor ordered. Of course, in addition to big, brawny men fighting each other there must be a seductive and beautiful girl somewhere in the mix, like Marion Burns, who is Anne Baker, the innocent daughter of a scientist who is tricked into creating the gas of death for the bad guy on remote Diamond Island. Rip Roaring Riley is a 1935 college educated Government Agent who fearlessly uses his fists, his wit, and his equipment to smash the bad guys into submission.

Our adventure opens with Riley in a bar fight against a handful of bad guys, punching and smashing them all to the ground before being hand-cuffed and carted off to jail. His boss then has another assignment for Riley, and he warns the G-man that this one might be his final job . . . . He may not survive the evil madman on Diamond Island! With a confident smile Riley jumps into his new convertible and heads for the docks to get into his fast motorboat and head for Diamond Island. Riley isn’t far up the street when he notices that he is being followed, and so he leads the chase through the narrow city streets, unable to lose the henchmen who are trying to kill him. Eventually one of the henchmen jumps into his car and holds him at gunpoint . . . . We think that this chase is over, but G-man Riley steps on the gas and jumps out of the car onto a passing truck just before his new convertible crashes in spectacular fashion. A short moment later, as his boat approaches Diamond Island, the madman with his henchmen watch, knowing that the boat contains a G-man who will try to stop them at any cost. Bad guy Major Gray watches the boat approaching ever closer with his high-powered binoculars . . . . But suddenly Riley’s boat explodes in a giant fireball, leaving only floating debris. . . . . Whew . . . . Rip Roaring Riley may not even get to Diamond Island, let alone meet the seductive Anne or face the wrath of bad guy Gray . . . . Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
