The Dizzy Dame and the Loaded Gun

Men are so very stupid when they are around women . . . . That statement annoys me to no end for two reasons. First, it is absolutely true, and also, . . . . I am a man.

Three women and one poor sap of a man dominate the plot of this disaster of a love story. Two of the women are married to the poor sap, and one controls his financial future, or more correctly his financial death.

To be honest, there is one more lady involved with this movie, and she is the producer, Fanchon Royer. This gal from Des Moines, Iowa went to Hollywood when she was fourteen years old, and within a couple of years was the editor of a Hollywood trade magazine. After several years of behind-the-scenes work in Hollywood she decided to produce her own movies, and this masterpiece reveals a hot-blooded murder from the angle that only a discerning woman could imagine.

As our adventure opens a court murder trial is about to begin. Leon Ames is the talented architect John Thurman, and his ex-wife has been murdered by his second wife. The murdering woman is called the Tiger of Death, and it looks like she will soon be warming her butt on an electric chair. The poor sap of a fellow who was married to both gals looks on with a sad and confused expression, not having any idea what is happening to him.

The murdering Tiger Lady is represented by the most famous criminal lawyer in town, and as he concludes his opening statement we will flash back to the beginning of the story and discover what led up to the murder.

Yes, men are so very stupid when they are around women . . . . Thankfully for men, once in a while a good woman snags him and takes charge. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
