Mistress of Love, Mistress of Death

Our adventure opens with a radio show featuring a learned man postulating that the mysterious city of Atlantis was not buried beneath the waters of the Sea but actually buried beneath the sands of the Sahara Desert. We move from the radio show to a room where a couple of men are listening to the show. One of the fellows exclaims that the radio lecturer is correct, and that he has been to the secret city of Atlantis, where he killed his best friend because of the Mistress of Atlantis. We then travel back in time as the two explorers are in the Egyptian desert searching for lost treasures. They are captured in the night and transported to the city of Atlantis deep beneath the sands of the desert. There they learn the story of the Mistress of Atlantis. A desert king gets a wife from the chorus line of a Paris nightclub and returns to his kingdom in the Sahara. Their daughter is Antinea, the Mistress of Atlantis who is now ruler of all. All of the men who behold her want her, and die trying to get her. When Antinea, the Mistress of Atlantis sees Lieutenant Saint-Avit (our leading man John Stuart) it is she who is smitten with love . . . and wouldn't ya know it . . . he is the only man alive who is not head over heels for her. What follows is a dark and mysterious tale of love and death in the deepest regions of the Sahara desert where many men have gone exploring, but few ever leave . . . especially ones who meet the seductive and elusive Mistress of Atlantis. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter and enjoy the show.
