Actors, Lovers, Kids and Poison

At first this seems like a he-said, she-said divorce story with a young boy and his custody in the center, but it turns out to be much more complex and mysterious than that. Wealthy scientist Paul Arnold, played by Crane Wilbur, is married to gorgeous young actor and opera singer Mona Trevor, played by Lois Wilson. The fellow singing opera with Mona loves her deeply but Mona laughs at his advances . . . but her husband is jealous enough that divorce proceedings begin. Mona is devastated because her husband doesn't believe her, and to complete her devestation she loses custody of her little boy. At this point it sounds like a typical divorce story with a little boy in the middle, but hold on for a minute, things will get very strange and incredible before we hit the end. Here is what awaits you as you expect a typical divorce story . . . Actress and opera singer Mona has a twin sister Anne . . . hmmmm . . . Scientist Paul has a pretty young blonde neighbor who likes to spend a lot of time with him and young Tommy . . . hmmm . . . singer Mona will lose her voice and her career and go back home to her twin sister . . . hmmm . . Scientist Paul has a lab full of poisons that could kill thousands of people . . . double hmmm . . . We have a long and bumpy ride ahead, and the story will surely not travel a path that you will expect. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
