Spies, Lies and Alibies

We are traveling back in time to the dark days of World War II but instead of watching armies battling each other we enter the exciting, mysterious and convoluted world of spies, espionage and traitors. As our adventure opens we watch the recruits at a secret British school for spies as they learn their trade. We meet and get to know a handful of French, English and Scotch citizens who are being trained for espionage. Andrew, a citizen of Belgium is a master spy who is sent on a mission to Belgium with orders to blow up and destroy the records building. He is successful, but is captured and put in prison. It is of grave importance that the master spy be rescued from the enemy prison, and our handful of spies are tasked with the duty of getting Andrew out of the hands of the enemy. A priest trained at the school of espionage is already in Belgium pastoring a church there, and he will be the contact man for the group of spies. Our spies are soon in a plane crossing the Channel and on their way to a spot where they will parachute in the darkness and re-group to begin their mission . . . . There is only one little bitty problem . . . As the spies are parachuting to the dark Belgium countryside, their commander in England discovers that one of their group who has gone ahead is a double-agent and has betrayed the spies and their mission. Their British commander tries in vain to reach the spies before they parachute to the ground, but he is too late . . . . Our group of spies has landed . . . . The enemy knows of them and their mission . . . . All spies face danger as part of their job, but these brave souls are on a suicide mission and don't even know it . . . . Spies will lie and spies will die . . . . But the mission must succeed . . . Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
