Ten Little Indians
There is an island off the coast of England that has a magnificent mansion high on a bluff above the shore. As our murder mystery opens we watch as eight people who do not know each other are in a small boat and headed for the island.
Once there, the eight people make their way to the top of the hill and enter the mansion. All eight of them were invited to the mansion for the weekend by U.N. Own . . . A name that sounds eerily like ‘unknown’ . . . The eight visitors discover that there is no one inside the mansion save for a married couple that was hired as butler and maid.
After their boat heads back for the mainland they discover that the eight strangers, along with the butler and maid, will be alone in the mansion until the boat returns on Monday. After dinner the butler puts a phonograph record on the gramophone and a recorded voice calls out to them.
The eight strangers, the butler and maid, are all accused of committing murder in their past lives, and all have been condemned to death. . . This weekend . . . While they are alone in the mansion. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
