The Murdered Artist and the Rare Paintings

The Falcon, master crime detective, is in Milan, Italy on behalf of an insurance company. The company had to pay a fortune to an art collector after two of his priceless paintings were stolen, and The Falcon will try to find and recover the stolen treasures. He finds one of the paintings in the apartment of an Italian artist and takes the painting with the understanding that he will purchase it the next day or return it. That night in his hotel suite someone tries to steal the painting from The Falcon, but he fights with the midnight intruder and prevents the painting from being stolen. Michael Watling, aka The Falcon, returns to the Italian artist's apartment and discovers that someone has murdered the man. Now The Falcon is not only searching for the second stolen painting, but he is also searching for the killer of the Italian artist. The adventure will take us back to America and the Brinckley Art Gallery, and the beautiful Lorraine Brinckley, where the second painting is on sale. Several actors played the part of the mythical detective The Falcon in motion pictures, but the most fascinating might have been John Calvert. He only acted in thirteen motion pictures, three of which were as Michael Watling, the Falcon. His main claim to fame was as a professional magician in the Hollywood and Las Vegas. His first performance as a magician was at the age of 8 in 1919, and in 2011 at the age of 100 he performed at the London Palladium. Bess Houdini, wife of the most famous magician of all time, said that the only magician better than him was her late husband Harry Houdini. He was still performing on stage a few weeks before his death on September 27, 2013 at the age of 102. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
