Clod-Hopper Farm Boy and the Fairy Princess

Walton's Mountain, move over . . . there is another big wonderful family in town, and they are the Stanton's. Laddie Stanton is a young farm boy full of life, goodness and the best of everything else. Laddie has a little sister who talks to an imaginary fairy princess in the open spot of the forest nearby. Laddie also has two big sisters, a younger brother, and an amazing mother and father who keep the family together and happy. But trouble is brewing as a new family buys land next to their big farm. A wealthy upper crust British couple move in and they are waaaaaaay to good and refined to associate with their country hick 'farmer' neighbors. When the Stanton's take welcome foods and cookies over with the intention of meeting their new neighbors they are turned away at the door and return home puzzled by the rudeness of their new neighbors. Laddie, though, is enchanted by the sight of their young daughter Pamela, played by Virginia Gilmore. She seems to like Laddie also, but her upper crust and grumpy father will have nothing of his daughter associating with low-class farm people. Ahhhhh, but wait and watch and enjoy the quiet and happy farm life of a big happy family and their strength, wisdom and loving ways that we all know will eventually soften the new neighbors. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with warm melted butter drizzled on top and enjoy the show.
