Pine Trees, Poison Tea and Harry Potter

For my money, with just a few exceptions, women make the very best bad guys . . . an evil woman can make a man's blood curdle with only a glance, and a second later seem as sweet as a fresh daisy in the sunshine. Rex Allen, Cowboy from Arizona is billed as the star of the movie, but June Vincent steals that star from him with every glance and every word. Just watch the excellent acting by June Vincent in this cowboy thriller . . . In this cowboy adventure she has the rare honor of playing the part of the meanest hombre in the story. She plays the part of Carrie Hurley, who along with her brother want to inherit their uncle's lumber mill in the Colorado Mountains and earn the millions that the trees will bring. Right now the lumber mill is silent because the forest service thinks that cutting down all the trees will cause disastrous flooding and erosion, but our villainess has a plan for that. She will try to convince a forest service ranger that he should condemn all the trees because of a beetle blight, but the ranger doesn't fall for it and so she poisons him with a cup of tea. Then she gets her long lost brother to pretend to be the ranger and condemn the trees anyway. Of course, there are a couple of obstacles in her way . . . a sweet young girl from Manhattan and a goofy guy from California (Slim Pickens) who will each inherit a third of the dead lumber baron's estate. Our villainess thought that she would inherit all of the timber, but these two, along with Rex Allen, our cowboy hero who just comes along with Slim Pickens will be her eventual undoing. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show . . . oh . . . . you say that I mentioned Harry Potter and haven't explained . . . well . . . if you are a Harry Potter fan you know that in his world pictures on the wall are animated . . . the people in the pictures can move and talk just as if they were alive . . . nothing like that has ever been thought of before, right? . . . heh . . . just watch as Slim Pickens looks at the dear photo of his mama in his watch and she talks to him and turns her head near the final fist fight of the show . . . what a pip . . . just like Harry Potter pictures that your youngsters thought were so revolutionary and never before imagined.
