A Yank in London . . . in Trouble

A tough fisted Yank sailor with four days leave in London decides to visit his brother in London and discovers that everyone seems to want him to leave town . . . Especially the owner of a nightclub that his brother frequented. The American sailor only wants to visit his kid brother who works for a travel agency in London, and he discovers that no one wants to talk about his brother . . . Especially a beautiful blonde nightclub singer he encounters who seems to know his brother until she gets a serious look from a tough guy following the sailor. When the blonde bombshell spots the tough guy in the corner she clams up and refuses to talk to the sailor any more. The sailor decides to visit the nightclub where she sings, and he discovers that his brother visited the club and the singer often. But at the club no one wants to talk to him about his brother, and the owner advises the sailor to stop looking for his brother and just leave town. What's a tough-fisted American to do when he gets the runaround from the slick British nightclub owner? Bust the place up, of course . . . One angry sailor against a mob of nightclub gangsters . . . Just about even odds until the coppers show up and arrest the sailor. Scotland Yard Inspector Haley informs the sailor that his brother is scheduled to be hung for murder in three days. Scotland Yard is searching for the Yank sailor with big fists, and the biggest gangsters in London are also after him. The sailor finds a Brit boxer who wants to help him, and the blonde nightclub singer also wants to help . . . and the solicitor who represented his brother at the Old Bailey . . . . With the aid of three Britts who want to help the determined sailor find the truth about the murder his brother is accused of he can't go wrong . . . . Right? . . . . Wrong! . . .
