The fate of Planet Paira is in trouble, and they must communicate with Dr. Kamura on the Earth island of Japan, in order to save the universe. Paira is a planet exactly opposite the Earth, on the other side of the sun. They are more advanced than us, and they have been visiting our planet for over 4,000 years.

When I was a young boy, science was discovering new wonders every day, and flying saucers were the mystery of the time. This Japanese Science Fiction thriller is a sample of the things that frightened us in 1956. Our world was at peace, after the long and bloody WWII, and any 'enemy' in the movies now came from outer space. The Pairan creatures have been flying their saucers to the Earth island of Japan, landing in a lake, and watching and learning about earthlings. The creatures look amazingly like a five pointed star covered in cloth, with one huge eye in the center of the star. On one visit the creatures watch a stage performance of a famous beautiful dancer on stage as she performs. Back at the space station, it is decided that the scientist-creature would transmutate into the form of this human woman, and mingle with the earthlings in search of Dr. Kamura.

When this creature/woman lands on earth, she possesses super human characteristics. She is playing tennis, and can jump ten feet into the air to return a volly. She can become invisible and walk through closed doors. She has fingerprints that are blank - no pattern at all. When she finds and walks in on Dr. Kamura, she spots a sheet of paper with scientific notations on it and quickly tears it up. When the Dr. asks her what she is doing, she informs him that she can understand the formula, and the secret formula contains the knowledge of a new powerful explosive that is more powerful than the H-bomb, and he must not continue with his experiments.

She later appears in front of a room full of scientists and explains her mission, and informs them that the Pairans have discovered that a rogue planet has broken free from it's rotation and is headed for a collision with Earth that will destroy not only the Earth, but the twin planet of Paira on the other side of the sun. The world must now unite to send multiple atomic rockets into space aimed at the rogue planet to knock it off it's course.

Your popcorn bowl will empty quickly as you nervously watch a small band of Japanese scientists try to convince the rest of the Earth nations to aid them in fighting this menace. Things look pretty slim, with only 15 days left before the earth is destroyed, and the rest of the world, yes, even many Japanese citizens just laugh and think that the threat is only nonsense. Will the Earth be destroyed in 15 days? Will the small band of scientists be able to convince the World Council to help them send H-bombs into space? Can the Japanese scientists handle the threat on their own without the help of the World? Yikes! We're in real trouble now! The fate of the Earth doesn't look good in January of 1956 as Planet 'R' heads for certain collision with Earth in a few days time.
