Soldiers Turned Outlaw

As our cowboy adventure opens the Mexican-American war is raging and a small band of army soldiers is attacking the Southern California Territory Mexican hacienda of Don Miguel Sebastian. After killing Sebastian's men they take Don Miguel prisoner, and discover that the war is now over. We next see four of the soldiers beating a Mexican farmer and kicking him off of his land, which was given to him by Don Miguel, and we later discover that these four soldiers turned cowboys had forced Don Miguel to sign over his large land holdings to Captain Angus McKane, played by Dallas television show star Jim Davis. Angus has become the king of California and is brutally ruling everyone around, killing anyone in his way. Along come Judge Young and his son Marshall Faron Young to settle land disputes and with the land title signed over by Don Miguel it looks like rogue soldier-turned-land-mogul Captain Angus Clyde McKane has all the legal cards on his side. Without talking to Don Miguel, and he was probably killed after being forced to sign the deed, it looks like nobody can stop the ruthless Angus McKane . . . But wait just one itty bitty minute now . . . it seems that Don Miguel has escaped death and is in hiding somewhere . . . Now the chase is on as Angus henchman Pardee, played by veteran bad guy Lee Van Cleef is one step ahead of the Marshall in hunting down the elusive Don Miguel. When Don Miguel is found and saved once more from the henchman's bullets he returns with the Marshall to testify at the trial of ruthless Angus McKane, and it seems that there are some surprises ahead for all of us as the true testimony about the transfer of the deed is explained by Don Muguel . . . Maybe Angus once again has the law on his side . . . as things get just a little bit fuzzy, and it will take a very knowledgeable and wise judge to sort it all out. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled on it and enjoy the show.
