When Dreams Came True . . .

Do you believe in dreams? Have you ever dreamed something and then saw it happen? Have you ever seen the books written by people that say that they can interpret your dreams and tell you what will be in your future? Do you believe? In this amazing story from the Old Testament people dream, and the dreams all came true, and one man had the power to link the dreams to real events that really came true. Two prisoners have dreams and they are told that one will die in three days, and one will be exalted to serve the Pharaoh of Egypt. It all comes true, just as Joseph has said. Then the Pharaoh of Egypt will have a dream, and this same Joseph will tell the Pharaoh the future of Egypt and Joseph will become the most powerful man in the land . . . Ahhhh . . . but I haven't told you about the first dream in the movie . . . The dream which will go horribly wrong . . . Or so it would seem to most of us . . . But we learn that all dreams do not come true quickly or easily . . . Joseph has a long and treacherous journey ahead of him before his boyhood dream will come true . . . His brothers will try to kill him, and failing that will sell Joseph into slavery where he will suffer, and when finally released from slavery will be accused of rape and put in prison to labor in building the Pharaoh's pyramid. Then he is brought out of prison and just as he is building a life and career in Egypt the evil Rekmira will bring together a band of Egyptians to destroy him. It appears that the only dream that will not come true is the dream that Joseph had as a young boy . . . Unless . . . Our dreams really do come true. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter on it and enjoy the show.
