Somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea there is a small remote island . . . Vampire Island . . . It seems that almost 700 years ago a sea captain's wife was accused of being a vampire, so to save her life he put his beautiful young wife into a huge stone crypt . . . and buried her alive in a cavern under the small island. Now, hundreds of years later, an archeologist is killed while studying the grave of Hannah, the young wife buried alive. The archeologist, Dr. Bolton, is knocked out cold and his body is laid under the coffin of Hannah and the legs holding her coffin off the floor are destroyed, causing her heavy stone coffin to fall on the archeologist killing him instantly. The archeologist's son soon arrives on the small island and wants to lift the heavy stone coffin of Hannah off of the body of his father so he can bury his father properly. Well, Hannah's stone coffin is so heavy that even with ropes and pulleys the entire coffin cannot be lifted in one piece . . . What's a fellow to do? . . . Of course . . . The heavy lid of the coffin will be lifted off first and set aside, and then the coffin itself can be lifted . . . There can be no danger in this, of course . . . The body of Hannah is 700 years old, and nothing could be left except some dusty bones . . . Unless Hannah really was a Vampire, living forever in the darkness of her tomb. Sure enough, when they lift the lid from the heavy coffin they see inside the perfectly preserved body of young Hannah, lying silent in death . . . But is she really dead? Will those eyes open up and will those beautifully lipstick covered lips breathe again? Will Hannah, Queen of the Vampires rise from her long sleep and wreak havoc on the small island? Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
