The Doctor is In . . . . . . Insane!

This mad-scientist horror thriller smells to High-Heaven. I mean it, it smells like no other movie made. It is a real stinker . . . er . . . . I mean, . . . Well . . . . I do not mean that the movie is a bad one, I only mean that an evil scientist has created a new after-shaving lotion for men that is stinky deadly! The smell of that after-shave lotion attracts a huge killer blood-sucking bat that never fails to kill its prey. Death rains down from the sky and murders anyone wearing the potent, smelly lotion.

Bela Lugosi is chemist Paul Carruthers, who creates cosmetics, and his employers have become wealthy while he only receives token amounts of money. He is bitter and has experimented in his private laboratory, using electricity to create huge monster killer bats. He has also created a new and very special perfume that he tells everyone will be a new after-shave lotion for men. His monster bat is then trained to kill whenever it smells this lotion, and the mad scientist will give the special after-shave lotion to the men that he wants to kill.

First to die will be one of the sons of his boss. He gives the fellow a bottle to try out, and insists that he wipe a generous amount on the soft part of his neck before leaving. As he is leaving the Doctor’s home, he tells the doctor ‘Good Night’ and the doctor replies, ‘Good Bye.’

Sure enough, the huge devil-bat swoops down on the unsuspecting lad as he nears his home and the bat’s huge claw tears his jugular vein, killing him before flying back to the doctor’s dark attic. The doctor continues to share his new smelly after-shave lotion with more victims, who all die horrible slashing deaths from the giant killer bat. A big city newspaper reporter is on the trail of the doctor, but no one can believe that the great scientist could be so evil.

Near the end of the saga, just after midnight, the reporter, his girlfriend and the doctor are all in the dark garden. The newspaper reporter is wearing the smelly potion, and suddenly splashes some onto the mad-scientist. Now all of them are wearing the smelly potion, and the murdering devil-bat is in the sky flying ever closer. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
