The Lady Cop and the Drug Running Sucker for Dames

Who is tougher than the most elusive drug dealer in Mexico? Our lady cop, played by Claire Trevor, is about to meet him. As our adventure opens a man and woman are being questioned by the cops and behind a two-way mirror two drug cops and a lady are watching. The man and woman being questions are drug mules for a big drug dealer in Mexico, Pete Ritchie, played by Raymond Burr.

The lady watching the questioning through the two-way mirror is Claire Trevor, who plays a lady cop. She will convince the Drug Enforcement officers to allow her to go to Mexico undercover and try to become a girlfriend of the drug dealer. The beautiful blonde cop travels deep into Mexico and becomes a dancer in the drug lord’s favorite Cantina, and soon she is in the dangerous drug dealer’s hotel room.

Suddenly, while the lady cop is handling Raymond Burr, the drug dealer’s door bursts open and another drug dealer and his henchman rushes in with guns drawn. The rival drug smuggler seems to be much tougher than Raymond Burr, with a real cruel streak in his blood. The tense scene between two rival drug dealers continues until Raymond Burr pulls a gun on his rival Johnny, played by Fred MacMurray.

Fred MacMurray grabs cop-lady Claire Trevor and uses her as a shield, pulling her along with him out of the room. Now our lady copper is the prisoner of a rival drug dealer who is even tougher than the one she was after in the first place. Drug dealer Fred MacMurray will force Claire Trevor to pretend to be his wife as they attempt to smuggle a large shipment of white powder up to the U.S. borderline and get it across the border into the States.

Along the way, this will lead to that, and the blonde cop will fall in love with the drug smuggler, and he will fall in love with her. What will happen as the lady cop and the drug smuggler hit the borderline together? Will the lady cop turn in the drug smuggler? Will the lady cop help the drug smuggler get across the border and become his woman? Or will something else happen? Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
