The Forbidden Lovers, The Dead Body, and Mister X

Cleve, you are very drunk. It is your anniversary and you stayed away from the big party that your wife is hosting. You are upset because her affections are split between you and another man . . . Her father, the wealthy and honorable Judge Calvin H. Blackwell.

Your wife compares you to him every day, and you always lose in the comparison. It is your anniversary, Cleve, and HE is already at the party, and HE is the center of attention. You are the man that his daughter married, but he thinks that she could have done much better.

So here you are, getting drunk at the office, refusing to go to the party and be pleasant to the best man in your wife’s life. That is when SHE walked into your life. She is a seductive, beautiful, sensual lady that you cannot keep your eyes off of. You are drunk, Cleve, but not THAT drunk.

After spending the evening with the mysterious and seductive woman, you are finally outside your dark house in the wee hours of the morning. Wipe the lipstick off your lips before you go inside, Cleve. You don’t want your wife to see it.

You may not realize it yet Cleve, but you are in love with the mysterious and seductive lady. Unfortunately, she is more woman than you can handle. She is more woman than you will ever realize until it is much too late.

She will murder, and you will be the fall guy. She will deceive you, Cleve, and you will still love her. She will abuse you, Cleve, and use you to her ends. Cleve, you are a poor, misguided man in love with the devil, . . . . A beautiful, seductive, lusty woman named Thelma Jordon. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
